Needed a place to decompress and breathe... found it ☺️
it's off season so nature's beauty and open space is here to bogart!
ie;empty&this is medicinal!
The staff are thoughtful, informative, kind and have 20 plus years of service here- veterans!
So you know they love and care for it! Joe, Ms Gardner, Dan... thanks+!
Only a couple people came up this morning to fish and they left.
Beyond graceful to be protected from this stifling heat in such a beautiful place!
30-50amp(w&wo sewage)-showers(.25)-dump station-bbq pits-tables etc
The moment is well, helping to ensure it is well with My soul.
Here's a few pictures that can't possibly do it justice•

Lake Cahuilla is a great little spot to camp. The grounds are kept really clean, the restrooms are some of the cleanest I've experienced, and the staff is really friendly. The desert view with the blue water combined with the quiet made for a very relaxing trip.

This is a great place for fishing and camping as well as going on amazing hikes. If you have a chance to while you are in the Coachella valley I would definitely recommend it as a place to go to.
What I would like to know is how much does it cost for a day to fish? And are pets allowed?

You can buy a day fishing pass at Wal-Mart. And yes pets can go with you.
How much does it cost to stay there?, and can you see the stars at night nighttime?, and does this place have clean bathrooms and private personal wash areas..?

Yes you can see the stars. They have clean bathrooms and personal showers. I'm not sure on the prices for you because it depends on what your staying in. Motorhome, camper, tent ECT.
Electric and water hookup available? Whe is the best time to go to avoid high heat?

Yes, water and electric is available and there is a dump station. I would suggest late September, early October to avoid the scorching summer heat.
I'm not sure. I swam there for the Ironman even, but they have a pool. I'm not sure if there were No Swimming signs. You can call the park staff they are very friendly and helpful.
The lake is stocked with rainbow trout in the winter and catfish in the summer by DFW and county hatcheries. There are also bass, bluegill, and carp in here. Fishing permits are $6 for adults and $4 for children.
Family and I stayed at "primitive camping" site and there were showers/restrooms. Dont forget the shower shoes!!! Staff do a great job at trying to keep em' clean but I cant say the same for some campers.
