The 5-8 club has a cool history of starting a speakeasy in the 1920’s. I tried my first ever classic “Juicy Lucy” here, which is what they are known for! Really fun place and good service.

Solid burgers, good beer, and fun decor. It has been longer than I can remember since I have been to the 5-8 Club and I am sorry I have been away so long. My wife wanted a Juicy Lucy so we made the trip and I am glad that we did. The burgers were delicious, the beer was cold, and the service was top notch. If you are in the market for a good burger then the 5-8 Club is your place.

If you are from anywhere around the 612 area then you must have heard of this place. If you have yet to have the privilege of trying it, I suggest you get yourself over there. This is a chill restaurant with that old school local burger joint vibe you can just feel in the air. The menu is small and simple. If you are going here you must try their juicy luicy. I like to have mine with their sweet potato fries which might just be my favorite part of the whole experience. Try out their marshmallow sauce, it sounds odd but pairs nicely with the fries. Top it all off with a cold beer and you've got yourself a dynamite meal.The staff was fairly busy, yet very attentive and helpful. I need to go back soon.
