Food is always good! I really enjoy the beer battered fish burrito. Staff is nice most of the time, but the restaurant seems to have a lot of turnover within their staff. Overall I recommend Rubio's to anyone who likes fish.

Okay so the deal is to eat here either for lunch or dinner earlier the better, fresh oil equals better taste overall otherwise don't bother. Taco trio is delicious, I dislike the blackend seasoning on the Mahi but can easily scrape off. All the tacos pair well with the Chipotle white sauce and Roasted Chipotle Salsa. I wish they would bring back the salsa bar, but I believe they found giving them out individually was more cost effective ontop of the covid mess

30+ years living in So Cal and finally tried Rubio’s. Big mistake. Should had gone to Chipotle’s next door. I guess the call it Mexican food because they put beans on their meals. Tried the shrimp burrito and while it had a good amount of shrimp it was tasteless and the chipotle sauce was overpowering. I also tried their salsa verde taco but I guess they forgot the salsa because it didn’t have any on it. The flour tortilla was cold. Their service sucks. Too too long. When I asked where my meal was as they served two tables that ordered after me they said I must have ordered a special meal??? Special alright. Sucks! Won’t try this again. Next time if I’m hungry and want to try horrible food I’ll go somewhere else and give them a try.

I've come to this Rubios many times over the years. They're definitely rebuilding their team and services since the pandemic. Overall quality was good, employees were friendly and helpful. Prices have gotten a little steep recently. Overall, good experience. My daughter really liked the lobster burrito and the mango black iced tea.
