Simon does a great job. Love this place. Revised: sadly Simon is no longer with Whitefish Nails. He left awhile back, I continued to go but found the new owners very cold and didn't listen to what I wanted and actually hurt me with the drummel tool. I have not been back.

I totally hate doing this because I LOVE to support small businesses and hateeee to be that person, but I feel the need to share my experience in hopes of giving this business some much needed feedback. I'm a new (first time) mom and decided to treat myself to a mani - pedi for mother's day this week since I haven't had my nails done in 8 months. When I put my feet in the water it was totally freezing. I asked for warmer water and the lady added like one second worth and then left it. I really didn't want to say anything, but honestly the water was freezing so I mentioned it again after five minutes. I guess their chairs don't have drains?? So she literally had to bring a bowl over and scoop water out and rolled her eyes while doing so. Then added about one splash of warm water and left it cold. They charged $40 for a basic pedicure and then another 10 dollars to remove callouses - ummm isn't that WHY we get pedicures?! So $50 for a basic pedicure, no scrub, no foot massage. I guess she had a hard time removing my nail polish and decided for herself that it must be gel, so they also spent about 5 minutes arguing with me about why I needed to pay ANOTHER $10 for nail polish removal of store bought polish that I had applied myself. Now - onto the manicure. Gel manicure. I think my lady must have been new or something because it took foreverrr and was absolutely horrible. I could have done a better job myself. The whole time I was getting my nails done the backdoor was open and someone was smoking cigarettes so now I literally need to shower and wash my hair before I can hold my baby. I'm an ex smoker so this was particularly frustrating for me. They literally forced me to pay with Venmo after I asked to pay with a card THREE times. Honestly, my entire experience was infuriating. Again - I hate doing this but this was truly awful. The massage chairs, tables, all the equipment was super used and felt very dirty. I realize this review sounds like it's coming from a very uppidy person but I'm actually normally EXTREMELY nice and understanding and down to earth. This was just...unacceptable.

They started my appointment half an hour late, apologized, tried to upsell me to additional services, injured my cuticle and still charged me more than it would have been elsewhere. Color is pretty, staff was friendly but my nails are a little chunky. Not sure if I'll be going back. They could do some cleaning, lights are dirty, towel was dirty.

I went in for a full acrylic set. I said i wanted almond and I was given round. They cut me multiple times on the cuticle, and the acrylic is bumby and poorly shaped. The paint was horribly done, I am able to see my real nail through the polish. The man who was doing my nails was throwing a tantrum while messing up and throwing his glasses everywhere, they were harsh on the nails, disinterested, and seemed to not care. A full set was $55 and I was only offered $5 off. I want them off and it’s only been an hour since I’ve had them, I’m already making an appointment for somewhere else. The lady looked at her ticket and asked my cousin that she forgot to tip. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.
