This type of personal wellness coaching is never "cheap" but it sure helps when you get the professional, caring and detailed attention that Shelly gives you at Thrive. Maybe you need a little nutritional advice, maybe you need to really get a view of what is going on with your body and maybe you need to get going on some serious health healing - Shelly is ready with all of those services. A great service and experience. Highly recommend!

Mrs. Cobb has completely transformed my life! I began my journey with her feeling tired, grumpy, and achy almost all day every day; her holistic program has healed and restored my mind and body. The tools she gives are priceless- the truth and importance of health that she has brought into my life has helped my entire family. I recommend EVERYONE desiring a real change and transformation to visit Thrive Wellness.

Thrive Wellness & Research Corp. | Apr 3, 2022

I have taken an additional course and passed the certification test to become a Certified Gluten Free Practitioner. The course is based on scientific research to provide comprehensive education regarding gluten, and related health issues. such as celiac disease and wheat related disorders and autoimmunity. I do not diagnose such disorders but provide educational material regarding them.

I forgot to ask, I see you are a personal trainer as well, do you train runners or have a specialty in personal training?

Dawn Glen | Apr 3, 2022
Thrive Wellness & Research Corp. | Apr 3, 2022

Hi Dawn, I enjoy training people at various levels- novices to professionals. One of specialties is training runners and walkers to do half or full marathons. I, myself have completed 13 half marathons and 3 full marathons. Regarding exercise, my goal for clients is whatever exercise they prefer, they know how to do it well, are aware of safety issues involved and enjoy their sport!

I enjoy running. I'd like to increase my speed for a half marathon. Can you help with sports nutrition?

Do you prefer one diet over another, such as paleo?

brad stafford | Apr 3, 2022
Thrive Wellness & Research Corp. | Apr 3, 2022

Hi Brad, Great question. No, I work with individuals and based on their health history and goals, I create a program that fits best with the client. I am certified in various methods to which I can pull from and use with my clients. Just like everyone that needs glasses, not everyone gets the same set of glasses. My methods are based in scientific research and not fad diets. I hope this helps. Blessings!

If I begin working with you, and I'm traveling for business, what do I do for food that is on my program and healthy?

George Preston | Mar 4, 2022
Thrive Wellness & Research Corp. | Mar 4, 2022

That is a great question. One of the services I provide is doing research for clients that travel whether for business or pleasure. I find places for my clients to shop and purchase foods. Based on their travels I find restaurants, review menus and call ahead to make sure my client can be well taken, care of. If needed, I create a dining out card to give the server to help explain what they need.
