DO NOT BUY SUNPOWER PRODUCT. Our device Wi-Fi has stopped working. I have been in contact with customer support after the tech team couldn’t solve the problem. Long story short, I’ve been told by their supervisor that I have to buy a new device and when I mention that the device has a 10 year warranty I have received radio silence from them. At one point they suggested to call one of their vendors to service it, out of pocket. When I called each vendor near my house, they all echoed two things. Vendors will not work on an existing device and the warranty should cover me. The original vendor that installed my solar system has long left SUNPOWER for lack of warranty services. This is a class action law suite waiting to happen. All I want is my device to connect to my Wi-Fi and this cheap cheap cheap company will not even honor their warnty agreement.

Do not use this company. I bought a home that came with solar so I didn't get to choose the provider. We moved in Aug and the solar has been down since Sept. I had solar in my previous home and never had an issue. They have sent out 3 crews as of today. First crew said it was fine and must have just been a glitch. System went down again 5 days later with a failure message. They sent out another crew. They couldn't fix it so crew 3 came out and they can't fix it either. Now they said another crew will be coming out and they will fix it. It takes 2 weeks every time they send out another crew plus waiting for the approval on the work order. This is taking months for them to repair the solar. Yet they still want their money and I have no solar. I'm paying for solar panels and am electric bill. They claim I will get reimbursed but they can't tell me how much. Do not use this company!!!!

I did a massive amount of research on solar panel technology, inverter technology, average cost per watt, our home power consumption, and comparing price vs system efficiency. After the research we decided that REC 370 solar panels with Enphase iQ7+ micro inverters was the right mix of cost vs performance and technology. We paid about 2.7 dollars per watt for Sunpower by Precis to install our entire system. If that was the end of the story that would be good. However, from the sales person Kathy to the engineering team to the production team to the installation team then the final check out with the power company and the city, all the paper work was done for me and was checked thoroughly. Any question was answered quickly. Fran even found an error from the Solar Panel manufacture warranty paper work out of Germany and had them resolve the problem immediately. I would never have noticed the error in 1 of the 30 panels but Fran noticed it and emailed them and informed me. It was taken care of and followed up on to completion. I can not say enough about every phase of the process. The installation crew was very professional and communicated with us about everything they were doing. The check out service person gave me a great overview of the system and even replaced a bad switch in my existing service panel. I did not get all of their names but Thank you Kathy, Aryn, Fran, Chelsea, and all the installers, and check out people. Great job!

I finally listened to my wife to get the solar installed in our home. All my neighbors have them and I was the only one in the block that did not have them yet. I was referred to different companies but I did my own research and I was able to go with SunPower by Precis. I loved their customer service and was able to get an appointment when i was available. My salesman Oscar Espinoza arrived on time and explained everything to my how it worked and what products was recommended. We were able to make a deal and with in few month I was up and running. They also upgraded my electrical panel and now I said good by to my $250-$500 electrical bill and hello to my new $14 dollars bill from Edison. I recommend SunPower by Precis. Oscar
