I did a glass blowing class here and it was very fun, not alot of hands on but a great beginning to glass blowing, the staff are very knowledgeable and there's many varieties of art work for purchase

We went in for the experience of blowing our own paper weight. It was actually way more hands off than we had hoped. It was cool to watch him make our piece in person, but the only thing we contributed was filling out what colors we wanted on a form, and a 3 second blow in the tube. I'm sure it's for insurance reasons, but I half thought we would roll the pipe, sprinkle the frit, or attach the base? Our guy said that city arts has more of a class that's hands on, I think that's what we need to try for a more hands on experience. But there were very friendly, and we enjoyed looking through the shop. It takes several days for the piece to cool, so plan to have to go back to pick up your piece.

I've visited this place since I was a kid. I moved away 15+ years ago and still have to visit when I'm back in Wichita. This time I got to blow an ornament! What an awesome experience!

You would have to call for that information. However a visit to the gallery is entirely worth it as there is an amazing amount of art to be seen.

They have various DYI stuff. I think you would benefit checking it out. With so many artisans shown there, you may have options I am unaware of today. Good luck.

I have a necklace, a large starburst, and the end of one and half of another ray broke off. Can my pendant be repaired? It was a Karg piece.

During the weekdays around 10am to 3 pm they are pretty quiet and would be easier to get in and achieve what you want. They are priced at 30 dollars for the standard one you blow.
