We were driving cross country and stopped in Topeka for a coffee and cupcake. Little did I know I’d find the BEST cupcake of my life! It is truly worth making the stop at Smallcakes Topeka to experience the lemon amaretto cupcake! The shop is just a mile or so from highway I-70.

Today we tried out this hidden gem... And let me tell you, words can not help describe the cupcakes alone. Lol they had a great 6 for $20 deal. The softness mixed with bursting flavor is a perfect match! Not sure when they were made but we went at 130ish and it was as if they came fresh out the oven! If you haven't please give this place a try!!!

Stopped by incidentally after studying at Starbucks next door and WOW. The strawberry cupcakes with strawberry buttercream were to die for. Luckily there are more Smallcakes in the KC area. Super delicious, perfect as a gift for yourself or others. Highly recommend.

Yes they have gluten free cho and vanilla cupcake then you pick the frosting. Is what they told me.
