The choices of movies are good. However, the food at the bistro is very pricey. None of items have a price noted. I will not buy food or drinks at the Flicks for sure.

I love going to The Flicks! It is easy to miss this charming, local theater because it is behind a large hotel, but it is well-sized with three theaters to watch in. An awesome snack bar in the lobby features real meals, buttery popcorn, and alcohol to purchase with a small dining area. There is a great selection of recently released films for a reasonable ticket price! I also love that there often aren't huge crowds and it isn't hard to find a parking spot. Definitely a Boise favorite for this resident!

Loved the feel! It's a fairly small but homey place, with a loaded DVD rental library. The snacks, meals, and drinks all looked and sounded divine. The theatre's size made for a more intimate, fun atmosphere and I'm definitely already looking forward to my next visit.

Love the films shown at the Flicks but just recently the parking for movies prior to 4pm is not available in the lot or alleyway adjacent to the Flicks, which belongs to Coldwell Banker! I got a notice I would be towed & it was even on a holiday others businesses were closed. Be forewarned. Obviously other owners have taken back the property rights. Sad, great place being overtaken by the Boise boom. Only place to park is the pay lot across Capitol on the corner of Fulton, $5 for anytime over 2 hours. And there is no garage parking at Capitol and Myrtle, that is the Inn at 500 & Richards restaurant & they do not allow parking for the Flicks. Some new signs need to reflect current situations, especially for seniors.
