Friendly staff, who will help you along the way. Try one of the HomeTown Pies in the freezer, made in New Strawn, Kansas quite tasty. The different wines on hand are tasty. The location itself is nice and they have a raft of hilarious ducks that hide under the deck on hot days. Spend the quarter and feed them. Your quarter will barely enter the vending machine when they come flying out waiting for a kibble. Take a little trip and buy some Kansas made products.

This orchard has two varieties of apples: Akane (early Jonathan) & Ozark Gold My wife is a genius at canning, so we bought a box full (they set a cap at $50). It was a not so hot day, so the harvesting was enjoyable, other than the chance of stepping in apple remains. They even had a harvesting pole we could use for the higher apples. The only suggestion I can recommend is better signage. When taking the highway exit, we had no idea if it was a turn to the left or right. Also, we had no idea from which rows to pick, other than quick instructions in the beginning. It would be nice to post what months each row ripens. This is a great family activity, not prohibitively expensive, and the staff were all wonderfully nice. Definitely worth a break from driving.

I love Pome on the Range. I pick apples from there. Also I love the wine tasting. A very pleasant place to be. I also love the fall time festival they have. Pumpkins and cider and all the pretty mums😊💗 Making the gift baskets for people in my family during the holidays ❤

This place is so much fun! Picking our own apples and feeding the ducks is great, and the staff is really friendly. It’s a bit out of the way, about 45 minutes from where we live, and the two times I’ve been there they only have 1-2 types of apples available to pick. But it’s a great experience, with fresh, cheap apples.
