We really enjoyed the stay. Just wish they'd cooled the area down for us a little. It was our shake down in our new to us travel trailer. We wanted to go someplace close. Very nice... quiet, very peaceful. Needs a little maintenance in and around some sites. But overall nice place.

Bluff Landing is located on 71st Street coming out of Broken Arrow. This campground is on the West side of the Verdigris River. Bluff Landing has a boat launching ramp, a picnic area, designated campsites with electrical outlets, drinking water, restrooms, and trailer dump station. It has showers. I has a fishing dock behind sites #1 and #2. A sidewalk leads to the fishing dock from a parking area located between site #2 and site #3. I spent most of my time there fishing from the bank of this dock. I caught a small bass and small catfish. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful views of the river. A snake came and showed me a fish it had caught. Then over the next 1 hour and a half, it proceeded to swallow it whole. I will post photos shortly after this post. There were many boat fishermen and kayakers. We ate at a restaurant called I.D.C. twenty minutes from the campground. Sites 31, 26, 27, 23, and 11 are fairly level and have electric and water hookups. Site 18 might work, but has no hookups. Site 11 was my wife's favorite site with site 23 being a close 2nd because it had afternoon shade. We camped at site 26 on May 12-13, 2022. It didn't have afternoon shade.

I've been camping here for 30 years now & it's just a beautiful, peaceful place. They have free restrooms & showers w 2 camping sections. Electric is available. They have a boat ramp & fishing is great, if you know where to go. They also have a playground for the kiddos & rv dump station. This is an Army Corp of Engineers campground & is well maintained.

Great camping. Large spots. Friendly host that tried to catch us throughout the day to introduce himself but we were gone. He made a point to come by again later in the evening. He cleaned the grill while we were gone and everything was kept up very well. Clean, Mowed, Affordable. Fishing, playground, 30 amp, online booking, 2 bars lte Verizon, some docs, Picnic table, grill, fire ring, water front, bring wood, dump station, Boat ramp. Short drive to restaurants and stores. Peaceful and quiet.

How much does it cost to tent camping?

Depends on electric or not Without us $14 a 24 hr periods With is $18 for 24 hrs. The fees are for site maintenance. You could go to the Corp of Engineer's Office in Sand Springs and apply for a "Frequent Use Pass"(if they still have that) and depending on your age, a "Senior Pass" I think you have to be 55 to apply for that but it is so worth it. The Senior Pass. It allows Lifetime access to ANY U.S. National or Federal Parks & Recreational Lands. You MUST be 62 to apply for that. Now, after saying that, there are of course, restrictions. The "restrictions" are obvious. They don't allow for the concession stands or gift shop discounts. You just need to check what discounts the Pass allows for you in each situation. Like a limit on "per person entry fees" . It allows you to take 4 persons into recreational facilities. People have actually tried to sneak 10 or more persons into common use camping areas with their passes. in that situation. I would call "FOUL" myself.

Do you have full hook up campsites that are open year around? If so, what are your rates?

Thomas Oesterreicher | Aug 17, 2018
Raven Robison | Aug 18, 2018

Yes, they are open year round. All amenities, but cost depends on type of campsite. Wheather a tent, travel trailer, camp van, pop-up. The prices are on the Corp of Engineers website or Bluff Landing camping prices.

They was rude unhelpful and did not try to help explain or help us reserve our spot we was hungry tired we ended up leaving due to the disrespect we got from camp host and her husband. The both was rude and very unperfecinal at there job.

No offense, but judging by your grammar it's understandable why there may have been a disconnect between yourself and the staff, you sound like an annoying child. I've never been to this place, but it sounds like they did the right thing keeping you out.
