Booked tickets in advance as well as train tickets for a nice activity whilst on vacation. The company cancelled the trip at the very last second--an hour before departure time-- because the boat wasn't fully booked. Customer service was rude and dismissive and didn't care. Do not recommend.

Four of us signed up for the wild life cruise. The boat was so crowded as we where approaching the steps for boarding our group and two others ( a total of 15 adults) did not board and requested our money back. The boat still seemed packed with people. I did not see where all of these people were going to sit and standing for 3 1/2 hours did not seem like fun.

Very well organized. Amazing crew! Great value! I would expect to pay double for this. We did the 1/2 day wildlife island cruise and it was amazing! We saw porpoises and seals and sea lions. And tons of birds. The captain slowed down and turned the boat when we came up on porpoises so we could see more of them and for longer. The crew had a ton of great information and you could hear him clearly no matter where you were seated. The galley food and drinks were very affordable. Bring cash to tip the crew! It seemed like not many people tipped which was dissapointing. I am recommending this to everyone. I also was impressed with all the information they gave you when you purchase your ticket. Made everything easy and seamless.

Most of the boats from Ventura Harbor were booked out and I ended up booking this trip to Anacapa Island from Oxnard. The staff was professional and made safety their first priority. They were also knowledgeable about the island and the wild-life (we saw lots of wild-life). Highly recommended!

Depends on what package you pick. Prices are on their website and you can pay online.

How is boat accessibility for the wildlife cruises? I know getting off at the islands you have to climb the ladders, but are the wildlife cruises handicapped accessible? (Asking for bad knees, not necessarily wheelchairs) Thank you!

Bad knees can handle it, but I can't imagine they could handle a wheelchair. The staff are nice and can give you a hand getting up/down ladders and stairs. To be safe I suggest contacting the boat company by phone to confirm the boat configuration hasn't changed. Tours are great. Sites beautiful. And we didn't get off to climb the cliffs and still found it fulfilling .
