Amazing hike to get all the way up!

Great hike! We did a 5 mile loop in the area and enjoyed the great views all around. The start of the trail is steep and later it eases. The parking lot isn't too big but parking on the side of the road is available.

Spectacular place to hike with an even better view..Be it by yourself, with a friend or with your children..I've seen youngsters as well as people in the 70s+ doing this beautiful hike..this is a spot to go for sure

well maintained trail to the flag，down the hill from the other side on an very steep trail, making it a loop, takes less than two hours. very beautiful panaroma view, of the mountain and of the ocean. bring water, no water and restroom in trailhead and on the trail.

Dogs on a leash are allowed in the day use areas, campground, and beaches. Dogs are not allowed in the backcountry trials or dirt roads. However, I have seen dogs on the trials, and there is no one to enforce the ban most of the time.
