Arrived at 5pm on a Wednesday for my 10 hour break. I was hoping for some hot food but the restaurant was closed.... it's getting real hard to keep supporting these small truck stops when they don't want to support us drivers...... might as well continue on to one of the bigger chain truck stops.

Thank you for being an old fashion truck stop! Great restaurant, clean hot showers, and a well stocked store. The showers, if you get embarrassed easily or are shy these might not be for you. They are located downstairs and you might want to bring a towel and wash cloth. The restaurant… if you order the bacon DBL cheeseburger you better be hungry.

The prices on everything was higher than usury . The food in the restaurant was not worth what was charged. And the stuff in the store was 2 to 3 times higher than the big mega truck stops charge. Was just not impressed with this place.

Called for a shower, they said none were available. they said someone destroyed the shower, there are 3 of them. I asked about motel room, after finding out prices and if my dog was allowed, I was told they were booked solid due to hunters. Interesting observation here, I have a dog, the dog needs walking. Several times throughout the day and as late as 11pm we went for a walk. While on our last walk for the night it was freezing cold and there were high winds. While on these walks I noticed there was only two cars in the parking lot for motel. The next morning there were 4. I wonder how all the people got to the motel that was so booked.
