It was my favorite place to eat for many years. But after covid like everything else went down hill. The famous bread and spicy olive oil; no longer served, but on the menu. Never have I gone to Italian restaurant with no bread served. Gravy had no taste pasta soft.

Tried for the first time and was let down. Hostess was not friendly. Looked annoyed to be there. Our waitress was friendly though and busser was great. Caesar salad was good. “Famous garlic bread” was just bread with marinara sauce. Had no garlic taste. My margarita pizza was OK. My boyfriends pasta was the worst bolognese sauce we’ve ever had. If you’re Italian steer clear of this place. The taste of the food does not correspond with their high prices unfortunately.

I need to first note, the service was wonderful. We loved our waitress. What we didn’t love is we got chicken parm and it was actually raw except for the center. It was as if they literally fried it for 2 seconds and thought it was done, the cheese wasn’t even melted. They got us a new order and we are lucky we didn’t eat any of it before we realized. But just unacceptable. Won’t go back because of that.

Went for a birthday dinner with my 5 friends last night. We all ordered margaritas. Appetizers came and still no drinks. When the drinks finally arrived we all took a sip. They were horrible. Not drinkable. It was straight sour mix. When the waitress came over we explained that the drinks were no good and we would all just rather a glass of wine. About 10 minutes later the waitress came back with the same margaritas. She explained that they can not take the drinks off our bill but they added more liquor to each drink. She then handed the drinks back to us. We were baffled. We asked to speak to a manager. When the manger came over she was so nasty to us. She was very argumentative with us. She stated that since the margaritas were not a specialty drink at the restaurant they can’t guarantee the drink will be made properly therefore they can’t be held responsible and will not be able to remove it from our bill. So then we explained that the waitress came back and gave us back our original margaritas. How did she know who’s drink was who’s? It took us having to say that we may not even be drinking our own drink for her to finally take it off the bill. We never got wine. We never even had bread brought to our table. The food was not good. All together it was a horrible experience, horrible customer service and a horrible birthday dinner for my friend. I would never go here again.”

We have got a notification lately that it's been under renovation. And yes, it has a Sunday brunch usually. Your best bet is to call Foxwoods mainline to check it out.
