I booked this for a girls getaway for me and my best friend. It also was her birthday. I have never stayed at a B&B before and wasn’t sure what to except. However, everything I read about Abbey’s Lantern Hill Inn was so positive that I figured “why not”. We were not disappointed!! The room was nicely decorated. We loved the cute chairs and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are so beautiful. Even though we never left the state the surroundings made us feel like we did and at the same time close to great restaurants and places to go. The breakfast both mornings were delicious. I can’t say enough. We definitely will be back. We only met Ericka, but she was a delight.

An amazing and lovely getaway. Everything was spotless and the room was cozy and beautiful. Absolutely adored the serene atmosphere and the relaxing soaking tub with jets. I can't wait to come back for a longer stay to truly enjoy my time here and every part of what this place has to offer. Thank you so much to Erika for her hospitality, and at such short notice.

Wow! What an amazing bed and breakfast in the perfect location. It's somehow quiet and relaxing and remote, but still a short drive from everything, it's practically in Foxwoods' backyard! This place is the perfect little homebase to rest and relax and then head out into Mystic and or the casino and check out the shops or many local vineyards/breweries. Erica and Peter are wonderful, friendly hosts and their breakfasts are so good. We stayed in the Cadillac room, and we quite enjoyed our stay there. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. I can't say enough good things about our stay, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from it all, but still have plenty to do nearby. I look forward to coming back again and again.

We stayed in the cottage and the privacy is so tranquil. The room was very clean and welcoming with everything you could need including microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was always on time and absolutely delicious (I highly recommend the gluten free blueberry pancakes-they don’t taste gluten free!!) Everywhere you would want to go is minutes away from their key location so I highly recommend this place! Thank you Abbeys for a great experience!

We have a wonderful, cozy pet-friendly Cottage which is separate from the main house. Well-behaved pets are welcome to stay in the Cottage and enjoy our grounds and hiking trails. The other 6 rooms are in the main house and not pet-friendly. We do not permit guest pets in the main house.
Super close. I remember it being 10-15 min away.
-Breakfast is included in the room rate and served anytime between 8AM-10AM. -Every day, there is a new menu with made-to-order cooked breakfast choices as well as a help yourself continental-style counter. Some examples of our cooked breakfasts include: french toast, eggs any style with bacon and toast, "herbal medley" (eggs scrambled with cream cheese and fresh herbs from our garden), "country breakfast" (two eggs fried in a nest of potato, pepper, onion, and sausage hash), egg tacos. -We love creating wonderful vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and soy-free breakfasts for health-conscious guests. 24 hours notice is useful. -All of our breakfast offerings are all-natural, 75% are USDA Certified Organic, and as much as possible is locally-produced. We are proud members of our local natural foods cooperative and also shop at local farmers markets in-season.
No shuttle, but Uber is terrific here and the fare is only $6-$7 to Foxwoods. The distance is less than a mile which is a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Parking at Foxwoods is free.
