A hidden gem, which I didn't get to explore as much as I wanted to, extremely clean, even the patrons were friendly and courteous. It features a man-made lake with a beach, created by diverting a part of one of many creeks or rivers, a very scenic waterfall, lots of picnic tables and barbecue areas, volleyball court etc. A bit of everything for everyone. Parking is free for Connecticut residents, but is reasonable for out of staters. I hope to visit again before the summer ends, try seeing all that I can possibly do in a day or two, while enjoying and savoring every moment there. I highly recommend everyone visits if given the opportunity. 😃😃😃

Its one of the best state parks in CT, you can grill and do the picnic with family OR if you want to see the waterfalls, search for wardworth falls in google maps instead of wardworth state park. Waterfalls view is almost 4 minutes drive away from the actual park

I came to this park once before and had a hard time finding the trail start. This time, I knew to look to the left of the parking area. I would like to note that this park is phenomenal. The paths are big and well taken care of, the trail signs are clearly marked, and it took less than 2 hours for us to walk down and up at a leisurely pace. Once seeing the very clearly marked trail signs, my friend and I checked out the map and decided on the O trail that led down to the big waterfall. It took us longer than I want to admit to realize that the O stands for orange and that, even though the map doesn't look orange, it is, in fact, the orange trail we were following. We took a detour down the blue path to see the little waterfalls. Honestly, I like the little waterfalls more than the big one. The intricacies of nature's design is breath taking. We did have to cross some precarious rocks in order to get to the other side and not get my shoes wet, but it was relatively easy.

Sunrise to sunset is correct.
I went last week for the first time i didnt have to pay
The cost is $15 for out of state residents for parking. There is no cost for parking for in state residents. There is no cost for entry. Enjoy and have lots of fun in the sun and exploration!
Yes, but you'll want to check the state's park website in case of closures
You can go close to (main) falls but not possible to take bath, as I have seen.
