Definitely the best coin shop in Great Philadelphia! I found this coin dealer by searching in Google: coin dealer + zip code in my area. It's about 40 min from where I live. Among several coin dealers in Great Philadelphia area, this one has the best rating. My experience with this coin shop tells me the high rating is proven. You can find all types of coins in this shop: both modern and old American coins, foreign coins, gold and silver coins, banknotes, foreign currency (at discounted price), ancient Roman coins, etc. You would find the lowest price from this shop. What's more important is the owner Frank is a super nice and patient person, as opposed to another coin dealer in Newtown area, who asked me to come back another time due to his "busy" schedule. I was there for a few hours selecting some foreign coins. After I got home, I realized that I forgot to pick up some banknotes I bought earlier. Then I called the shop, the owner offered to mail the banknotes to my home address. Very impressive! I highly recommend this place to all coin collectors.

I have gone here a few times now to sell coins and scrap jewelry. By far, Frank is more than fair when it comes to purchasing the items I had to sell. He also has a huge selection of coins and commemorative coins for sale at the best prices. I highly recommend this shop for all selling or purchasing of precious coins and metals!!!

Frank’s knowledge of Numismatic and the Intrinsic value of all coins/bullion is just remarkable. His ability to evaluate a coins lineage is greater than a walk through American/World monetary history . His skills are parallel if not superior to most books on coinage/paper. His prices are 100% legitimate and his quotes are paid according to widely available spot or collectors values of raw or graded product without any shipping and processing fees. If you don’t see what you are seeking, just ask. The store has an incredible range of products so numerous that his diverse paper and metal products could fill a grocery store isle many times. I have purchased and sold to Frank many times over the past 8 years and I greatly value his opinion on new purchases. My daughter even has her own collection that she cherishes thanks to Frank’s advice. Don’t think twice about starting or expanding you hoard, just ask and you shall prosper. He cannot read the future but you will be well guided and informed. That’s not a feeling many stores can be proud of regardless what they sell.

There is no way to generalize. Each coin has a value independent of the silver or gold content. I suggest you call or visit Frank at the Coin Shop. He is a very nice guy and would live to talk to you. Coins are his passioy.
