Great venue for the wedding event and reception we had there. Absolutely beautiful here! Book it for your own event and pray for the good weather we enjoyed!

I saw this on Google Maps and thought it'd be nice to visit. Yes! It's quite lovely. I'm so impressed by the beautiful, very old trees that have been well cared for. There are gorgeous and unusual flowets and plants. There was a gathering going on during my visit. This would be great for a shower, wedding, or some other event. They have one of the nicest "comfort cabins" we've seen. The person in the Welcome Center has a wealth of knowledge, a passion for the gardens, and is very friendly. It's worth a stop here to rest and take in nature's beauty.

My husband and I met at Edinboro University and got engaged there so getting married in Edinboro was also important to us as it held a significant meaning. I also always wanted a garden wedding and I got that with Goodell. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and Kim was very communicative. Our day was beautiful and fantastic! I’d live it over a million times if I could.

Had our wedding here a few years ago, we enjoyed having the outdoor venue so close to home and to the location of our reception.

Thanks for asking, Scott. We will be closed on Saturday July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
Hi Lora, Membership starts at just $30 per year for individuals and goes up from there. You can find more information on our website (and join if you choose to) here: www.goodellgardens.org/membership Thanks for asking!
Hi Tilly, Service animals are always welcome at Goodell Gardens & Homestead. If you're talking about pets, we don't have an official policy about dogs. We do ask if you do choose to bring a dog to Goodell that your pooch is always on a leash, that you walk them in the fields outside of the driveway loop before entering the gardens, that you not allow them to walk in any of the garden beds, and that you clean up after them. Pet owners are responsible for any damage they may cause. We also reserve the right to ask dogs (and their owners) leave if they're being disruptive, destructive, or otherwise behaving badly. There are certain events where there are thousands of people on site. Those might not be the best events to attend with your dog. I know my dogs would be overwhelmed during our biggest events for certain. Thanks for asking this! Not everyone does. Hope to see you this season, Amber Wellington Executive Director Goodell Gardens & Homestead
