I just moved back to the area and took my 2 small dogs for their check up and shots. They didnt get a check up! They took their pictures and gave them shots. Everything I asked about had a price sheet I wanted to get their teeth cleaned but the price sheet was 6 to 8 hundred dollars. I have been getting these dogs teeth cleaned for years and I never paid over 200. I did get the shots updated and added the the a Lyme disease vaccine. I was told I had to bring them back for a booster and it was covered in the price. I spent well over 300 for these 2 little dogs that day. I took them back for a booster to this vaccine and was charged 190.oo So I I was charged 27.00 each for the tech when they were together... 61.00 each for the booster and 5.00 each to throw the needle away. So I called to ask about this and was told I was a Liar no one told me this.needless to say I was pretty upset.. so I asked why was the booster more than the vaccine The answer was we went up on our prices 2 weeks ago.. so I paid 121.00 total for each of them to have a shot. This place is unreal... I have never been treated so poorly and I have been with rescues and Humane Society for years. I will never take my animals to this place again.tothere this place again. They were dollar signs to them.called and asked why I was charged again that I was told it was in the price I paid the f

Very caring vet's and staff, the breeder I got my puppy from uses Western Reserve and I stayed with them even though I live 30 miles away. Update as of March 2022, they are now allowing owners in with their pets for exams and treatments.

We has 3 dogs ears cropped here. They don't give antibiotics to take home. 2 dogs ears are uneven. 1 was so bad they refunded my money after a second surgery in attemp to fix the ear ( it was still visually not the same length but was the same shape after that). We went to a different vet and had to put the pup through a third surgery in order to correct it. The other pup with uneven ears appears the same but as she grew it became noticable more. Nothing was done here but they were made aware of the situation. The third dog we had done his ears looked great however he got an infection in one which caused the stitches to come out and a second surgery at my cost was done. I feel this was preventable if he had gone home on antibiotics. We will not be using this vet for future crops or anything else. We would not recommend them either.

Do you get charged an office visit if you only get my dogs nails cut

As long as we have a current veterinary patient client relationship ( a yearly exam) and your pet is current with a rabies vaccination then there is not an examination fee or a tech fee.

What do you charge to spay and nueter. Small 6 to 8 pounds medium 60 to 80 pounds

Elizabeth Rivers | Aug 16, 2018
Western Reserve Animal Clinic (Owner) | Aug 17, 2018

To spay a female 6-8 pounds is $293.00 and for 60-80 pounds is $355.00. To neuter a male 6-8 pounds is $277.00 and for 60-80 pounds is $296.00. All costs include the procedure, bloodwork, pain medication at the clinic and to go home, IV fluids, an e-collar and a follow-up appointment to make sure the incision site is healing. If we have not seen the pet before they will need an exam. If the pet is not current with a rabies vaccine then that too will need to be updated. Thank you for inquiring. Have a good day!

Wayde - thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the clinic does not castrate goats at this time.
