Very nice campground. Our only disappointment was the music rule. I clearly should have read the reviews before booking. When I questioned the “absolutely no radios” just asking if we could have it very low as there was no one anywhere us, I was told, very directly, “no, people get into music wars”. We’ve been camping many years and haven’t seen a “music war” yet. The website does not reflect this policy. It really should, so that potential customers are aware. It says “we do not allow excessive music volume that could disturb others…. Quiet time is 10:00.”

I love that is campground actually feels like camping, winding roads bring you to a secluded site where you're surrounded by trees and well maintained grounds even with a touch of landscaping. It's quiet and peaceful, overlooking the fishing ponds. Definitely going to be coming here more often now that we found a campground that doesn't feel like a parking lot- the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.

This campground has a few bad reviews, and I was skeptical when my family and I arrived. Our site was moved, but the site we were put at was much better than the original. The rv sites in my are were clean, spread out and maintained. every time I went to the office, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The campground was lively and quiet. Everyone there was respectful. The main bathrooms and showers were clean and didn't smell bad. All of the amenities were nice; the pool was clean and the fishing was awesome. We sat around until 3 in the morning listening to music (turned very low) and no one bothered us. We will be back!

The campground was great and the kids had fun. The biggest downfall was that you are not allowed to listen to music whatsoever. Around 7pm We had our music on very low just enough that we could hear it and still carry conversation. (The closest campers to us were 3 lots over) The owner came up to us on a golf cart and told us no music was permitted whatsoever. I could understand after 10 o’clock but it was 7!! I asked if we could just play it on our phone speaker and he said no music at all. It took everything we had not to pack up and leave. 12 pieces of wood cost $12 and you’re not allowed to bring any in. The site was nice and fishing was good but we won’t be back unless the music policy is lifted.

Can u rent a cabin midweek and fish? Is the fishing any good?

Bob Leden | Aug 16, 2018

I'm told the fishing is decent, but, unfortunately there are only RV spots, tent camping, and around two four bunk cabins with no electricity or running water.
