What a shame we are now being charged a "Convenience Fee" for renewing our tags online! I chose to come here. There was a line but it moved quickly. Also, bring ca$h. They don't accept debit/credit cards.
Oh.....and no convenience fee also.

I had to renew my car tag. I went to the Pembroke Pines location. At this location there were only two ladies working. However, the way the both worked it was very hard to tell. The both of them were absolutely outstanding. They worked quickly, provided professional service and made sure things were done accurately.

For decades of visiting this tag agency it been one BLACK OLD SENIOR citizen lady there 😂 as busy as this place is. She's RUDE,NASTY ANS VERY ARROGANT!!! The Spanish women is no better! Unreal It's time for her to retire,step back and hire new people🙅🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
They open at 9am, however people start to line up as early as 45mins prior to ensure they are the first ones in, considering it was a Monday that is very likely to happen. There is always a line however they move pretty fast providing that the system is up.
Does it cost anything to surrender a license plate? Can it be mailed in?

No ! You need to go to the Driver License Bureau on University drive and Pines Blvd. It may be wise to call and make an appt. Or you can visit FOR JUAN BUSTAMANTE / OPTOMETRIST / VISION CARE / 1001 E 4 AVE / HIALEAH FL/ 33010 / PH 786-953-5480 / 8.11.20 / 11:30 AM / BELEN REFERRAL DEPARTMENT / COM and get it renewed through them....it takes about 10 days to 2 weeks to get in mail. Hope that helped.

You can renew online by inputting your plate number and drivers license info
It’s a small agency and very busy so that’s the reason they don’t answer calls but if you have a question you can go to the Florida department of highway and motor vehicle for any questions you have
For starters they have an application you would need to fill out and you would need to bring your Driver License, however FL does something called electronic title where you would get an outline of it from the agency and then the official title gets mailed to you in a couple of weeks.
I would say call their office but they never pick up.
