This was back in march we went on spring break from NW Ohio down to outer banks NC. This was about halfway point. We got the BEST service and family welcome you could get!!! This place and the people are the best! Would stay here again if we were to take that trip again.

I have stayed at this site many times over a 13 year period. It never fails to impress. The staff is great. The rooms are immaculate. The grounds at this stay were particularly noteworthy because there was not a twig, piece of trash or any other debris anywhere.

This hotel is the perfect example of old school hospitality and exactly why you should not judge a book by its cover! When you pull in to the parking lot, you are treated with perfectly groomed landscaping and an feel that transports you back to the 1950’s! The rooms are sooo much larger than you would expect! They are clean! There is no musty smell (like you find with so many old school locations). The bathrooms are huge! Plenty of comfortable seating and comfortable beds! The staff takes the experience up a notch with their hospitality and knowledge of the facility and its history. Please help keep this location going and a landmark to days gone by — stay here! You won’t regret it!!!!

Friendly staff and very family oriented. We love staying here. They have the cleanest rooms and very spacious and comfortable. The price is very reasonable. This is our first choice.
