Your review was great, here: Upon arrival, you can see the enormous resort full of enjoyment from kids all ages to senior adults. Slopes were great and mostly going to the beginner slope with my 6 year soon who learned how to ski in this very mountain last Sunday! My daughter learned for the first time snowboarding, and my middle son perfected his ski abilities and raced other kids his age down the slope. The enjoyment was fenomenal and the whole family celebrated at the restaurant inside the resort which they have decent prices, the easier is highly attentive to and the food was good. The restaurant was ok, but we were quite skeptical at the beginning due to COVID-19 issues, but hey, those were solely during peak times. Recommendations for this resort: plan ahead! Get very very early! Grab a hot cocoa! Purchase lift tickets if you're advanced!

this year I went to Ski Big Bear two times. in January I was satisfied a lot. although it was Sunday, I did not wait so long to get rented equipment and lift waiting time was not long. honestly the facility looks old but no problem at all. so I had enjoyed skiing with my son in Jan. That is why I went there again in Feb on Saturday 2/19. but in second visit I experienced a terrible thing. when I got off ski lift, all of sudden the ski lift moved so fast and pushed me and my son. it was like throwing me and my son away. fortunately I did not get a big injury in appearance but now my son and I both feel a little bit pain in neck. so far not big injury I think. there was no safety guide. the next lift also had the same issue and a lift operator stopped the lift and came out. no one got a big injury seemingly. It is not like 'Terrifying Ski Lift Malfunction' happened in 2018 in Georgia. but it was really a bad experience for me and never had that kind of thing before. I used ski lift over then many times for two days. it happened to me only that time. it might not happen to you. but need to be careful.

Great family oriented ski slope. Trails for both beginners and more advanced skiers. Cafeteria and restaurant are great for a break from skiing.
