I love this place. You wouldn't believe there is a nature area like this only 5 minutes from a city, but it's true. Beautiful cliffs, a river, and, of course, small, deep, pools of water called tubs. The main trail is about 2 miles long and takes less than 2 hours to hike if you stop for photos and snacks :) I have bad knees and feet, and it was definitely manageable. Peaceful, clean, and gorgeous with ample parking.

One of the best quiet hikes I've had in a long time. Once you reach the electric lines there's just stunning views. Was glad I went in the winter even though it was a bit muddy. Easy hike for the most part, too, with only a few steeper areas.

Excellent site. Short easy hike near the highway. Perfect for a short break or a whole day adventure. Beautiful fall foliage, well maintained trails, and easy parking made Seven Tubs an absolute delight. We can not wait to return in warmer weather. Photos do not do the site justice.

I stopped here for a quick visit before a doctor's appointment, and WOW!! The entire area was so beautiful. I loved that you could see the falls almost immediately. We didn't have to hike out for 30 minutes to see the beautiful falls, it was just a quick walk. There's a cute bridge to walk over, and there's some landscaping done to make it easier to walk down to the water. I was so amazed and impressed. We decided to just take a quick look, so we were only here for about 30 minutes. But it seems like there's a 2 mile loop, and a much longer loop for the more experienced hiker.

You'll be fine. Enjoy.
Bear Creek is ok to live in which is where The Tubbs are. I wouldn't move to Wilkes Barre though...
There are a few tables at the entrance but all trail once into the park
There are some parts that you could but most of the trails would be impassable with a stroller.
There are a number of trails with varying grades and difficulty. There's something suitable for everybody here.
Yes. Get there early so you can set up your spot. Bring trash bags to clean up afterwards.
