Waiter was fantastic. Food? Not anything to be excited about. I had the prime rib dippers. Few tough pieces of meat on a roll with a couple onions and cheese. Wouldn't order again. Husband had ribs. They were okay. Not great but okay. Spinach artichoke dip. Wow. Used to get a big portion of dip in a large bowl with a lot of chips. Inflation has taken its toll. Got about 3/4 cup serving of dip and a skimpy amount of chips. Barely enough for two people. Definitely not worth 9.99! Can't say I will be rushing to go back.

We have been there twice in the last week. Great food. We had one great server and one poor server. Great atmosphere.

I was very impressed with the manners that my server had. He would of gotten a 20% tip but towards the end, he started multi tasking between 3 booths and I had to wait along time for my to go containers and receipt. He also forgot my water refill. So, I was a little disappointed.

Always a great place to stop and catch a quick bite when out shopping however our last visit my steak was burnt and charred when I ordered medium and my sides were ice cold however my husband's exact same meal was not cold yet he ordered medium well with his steak. Otherwise Applebee's is usually a great meal and customer service. Not sure maybe a new cook at the Lakewood, NY location???
