Very much disappointed and frustrated with the outcoming, as a selling person. I am not living in Miami anymore, so I had to sell my furniture and decoration items from the apartment. Not many options in Miami, I found the upscale consignment gallery – secondhand store. At the end I was very much disappointed with the such low prices the owner told me the items were sold (without informing or asking me beforehand) and also the poor administration that my items were sold (no receipts at all !!), with the justification that the items were for a long time in the store… Anyway, it would have been better to have given them away to a charity institution, frankly. For instance a glass center table of Le Corbusier (in a very good shape) was sold for $ 200.00 (new price is ~ $ 2,000.00), a couch of 3 seats almost new in Alcantara fabric plus a foot stool and an extra set of fabric (all made in Italy) sold for $ 500.00 (new price $ 6,000.00), split at the end by 50% between me and the store owner. The prices in this store are actually very high in general ! Mostly what made me write this review were the treatment I received by the owner and at the end the very poor administration of this business itself (neither proof of selling dates nor proof of prices sold). Indeed a complete disadvantage (also on the agreement form) for the sellers !! Be aware of it if you are selling items and make sure you can control better your selling in person ! Thanks ! I always enjoy a trip to Upscale Furniture Consignment. I have been very happy with my purchases. Our newest item a genuine leather den sofa with double leg, foot rests with wall hugger aspects built in was an added bonus. It fit in our family room perfectly. The staff is friendly, not pushy allowing you to browse until you need help. Five stars for showroom, service and delivery.
