What is the hype with this well known studio in the dance community? My ride dropped me off at Ikon LA clothing store and on google maps it said Playground was a couple mins away from there and I ended up walking around hours trying to find Playground LA, and I could not find it. I was coming to Melrose from North Hollywood and just wanted to try out a new dance studio. I was looking forward to the experience but never got to have it since I could not find the studio. I was scheduled to take two classes, it is twenty bucks per class. The owner is not super responsive to emails or dms via instagram but once I got a hold of them, they did not want to give me my money back and they started saying I could get store credit but then they didn't want to give me details on how credit worked at the studio. I discourage non locals from going to this studio. Mind you there is no phone number to call to cancel three hrs in advance per their policy and there is no phone number to call so you can say you are coming late so maybe they can give some directions so you can find the studio. Thanks for being inflexible and not giving me back my money.

This was the best experience of my life!! The instructor was really good, and so was the choreography. Everyone was so nice there, and it was really easy to check in. The best part was that they had a drummer, who was amazing!! I will definitely be coming back for more classes!!

We were in town from North Carolina for the week. My daughter did a drop in hip hop class and she loved it! I thought the price was very reasonable and the instructor was definitely well qualified.

If dance is your thing then this is your place. I like that they place a limit on the class. Not overcrowded like many other dance studios in the greater LA area. Great location to grab a meal before and/or after a dance session. Very affordable!

Yes! I’ve seen many children even younger come and take a class! 😇
Go online and sign up
Just LA
You can walk in for $16 or $20, but on the website you have to sign up for a class.
They both offer great classes but the only difference is that they have different choreographers. Millennium does have more rooms available.
Yes. The class I took with Kennis takes cash....it was $16. Not sure about the others.
Anyone can come. They have classes that range from beginner to advanced
There's no dance group
You don’t have to be a professional
There's no dance class that will not take your money you can be a beginner you just might not keep up
For a drop in class it is $16 .. the package prices are on the website :)
No, they accept all age ranges.
Not sure about popping but give them a shout and Inquire!
I only went once, but I paid online. Try looking up alternative methods online. Maybe you'll find something helpful.
$16 per class or you can purchase a package! You can see the classes available on their app as well as pricing!
Each choreographer has a different class price depending on their class rate for the studio to host classes or there are class packages you can purchases for multiple classes within a 6month period.
Whats the question, so give them a call n when u come to USA. To California Hollywood, sign up n do it
Hello where you live now, because you wait a lot of years ..
I don't sorry but if you call them they are very helpful
Nope. No spectators allowed. There's no space in the studio and you'd be snapping pictures that would include other people too
I went there once and I just paid like 16$ and danced for an hour but it was just an intermediate class for hip hop dancing but I don't know about teams. I wonder if you are referring to like Matt Steffanina on YouTube perhaps?
I don't own this establishment, but the next time I go, i'll make sure to ask them and get back to you.
You don't learn to dance here you learn choreography
A couple of studios to check out in Chicago: Visceral Dance Millenium Chicago (There are a lot more, these are the ones I’m listing for now tho)
Yes i have seen on her instagram she has been practicing there recently
It’s per class
Have you check the schedule online?
Yes
Anyone can go and dance but these are high level classes. I recommend having dancing experience if you are going to attend. Also I recommend signing up for the class you are interested in online in advance. The popular teachers sell out fast.
Unfortunately only in LA. I traveled from Canada to take my son there.
You should learn how to do a an easy front handspring or aerial for beginners!
For one person it's $16 to do a "walk in" class, or you could pay online
Look Kenzie is in the advanced classes and u can't see her because she is working hard dancing
You can sign people up by going on the app or on the website.
Yes
You can just take the classes
Yes you can take the class, They have beginners classes an advanced classes it depends on how fast you can learn steps.
