This spa has been closed for sometime now. Not sure why Google keeps it on the list.

ZERO STARS! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I thought they were a nice facility and the staff was tolerable enough. I just sat there and tried to relax and not pay mind to the loud and unprofessional conversation I occasionally heard while receiving my services. Now they’ve really outdone themselves. They have relocated twice and now they have packed up for good and have NO PLANS OF RELOCATING. MY FAMILY HAS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN GIFT CERTIFICATES TO THIS PLACE. THE OWNER DOESN’T RESPOND! Terrible business. Absolutely unprofessional on so many levels. Not a care in the world for customers that help write their checks and pay (what used to be) their rent. If they ever do reopen and decide not to give refunds, we be using our certificates and my family will never be back. Say goodbye to almost ****$5,000 in annual revenue****!!!! Yes Melanie Allen, you read all that right! Not surprised in the least by this. Terrible, TERRIBLE business ethics.

Does anyone know about them going out of business? My husband gave me a $100 gift certificate on valintines day and I called and called no answer. I went up today and see the place is empty!!! And took my $100! What the hell! Do they have another spa in the surrounding areas? Anyone know? I'd appreciate any help in getting in touch with them. Thank you.

I visited Avance Spa hoping for a relaxing escape to include a 60 minute massage, 60 minute facial and a pedicure. Unfortunately I feel I spent more time wondering “is this place for real” then enjoying a great day at the spa. While Amy gave a good massage the room we were in was about the size of a small walk-in closet with maximum occupancy of one, extremely cold and the massage bed felt like the quality of one you would find in an express airport massage location. I have never had a facial where someone did not ask any questions about my skin care or give me a consultation after. I also have never had a facial where my eye make-up was never removed. I felt that there was more time spent massaging my arms then paying attention to my face. After using the restroom during the 15 minute resting time of my face mask I mistakenly looked in the mirror. I quickly found that my six year old boy could have applied a more evenly distributed mask on my face - there was even a large clump ball of mask under my nose that I removed myself. After mask removal - I was told I could get dressed and wait in the britely lit waiting room for the pediurist. The pedicurist was so ginger with every move that either 1) she was afraid of feet or 2) mistakened me for someone that had ten broken toes - a week later I will be getting my normal pedi at Nina’s as my feet are still rough, my toe nails are still long and nail polish application was no good. How I could have had three disappointing services in one day for $250 including tips is beyond me. The cherry on the cake was when I got to my car. I looked at my face and found white face mask on the side of my neck, under my chin and in both of my nostrils. I am a huge supporter of Newtown and small business in the areas where I live. Unfortunately Avance Spa needs some management evaluation and rework of the overall environment and quality of services before I would ever recommend or go there again.

I have one also. Have you heard anything else about the company and if they are in a new spot?
They are no longer at that location and I don't think they have reopened anywhere.
