Had to try the BLT Bloody Mary! Lots of horseradish, just how I like it! So good I had to have a second! Bacon truly makes anything/everything better! Hubby was happy that they had bottles of Molson. He ordered the pulled pork sandwich with corn fritters and coleslaw and he raved about it all and had me try it, I would definitely go for that next time, should we find ourselves in the vicinity of Max's again (we had done the Bannerman Castle ferry and tour on Pollepel Island in the Hudson, highly recommend you take the time to check it out, very interesting characters and history.) I got the "Let There Be Salmon" with rice and veggies, very flavorful and the salmon was cooked just right.

Great bar on Main St. In Beacon NY. Went last night and it was great, has the low key dive bar feel, but without the drama. The bartender Lindsey was great, welcoming and good at her job. They had a young lady singing tunes last night and she was awesome. The prices are average, the drinks are well poured. On my way out I met the owner Richard, and what a kind grateful man. He introduced himself and we talked about Pizza shops around where I used to live. Great place folks. Definitely a spot yo hit up if you're in the Beacon area and want some drinks, cool atmosphere, amazing staff and to be honest an all around great place. 5 ⭐️ place for sure. I will be heading back, unfortunately for people's ears it will be on Kareoke night (Thursdays) 🤣

Definitely feels like a beer/wine place, simple and charmingly divey, but DO NOT overlook the cocktails. They are made with love and totally S.L.A.P.

Friendly staff, great food and beer, karaoke...I had French Onion soup and Cajun pasta with shrimps, both delicious.
