The Alexander is our Happy Place. It has been a joyous ride for our retirement years. They have so much to offer here. Loads of events, great food, a movie theater , an awesome staff , and lots of fun residents. We also feel very safe here and it's so close to doctors and shopping and our family.

The Alexander is a beautiful place to live but it is the staff that makes it a home. From the management to the kitchen staff to the housekeeping, everyone has been friendly as they go out of their way to help and care for the residents. There are many fun activities to involve and entertain the residents. My father lived here for 2 years and I highly recommend the Alexander for its caring staff, great location, and tasty restaurants.

Bend Guide

An 11% annual rent increase is outrageous. Bend is an expensive place to live but an 11% raise in a single year is unreasonable. If they were building or adding additional services, that would be a different story but they are offering the same services, programs, living arrangement, etc. for a higher price. Dining prices have also increased and they limited the menu so less options for a higher cost. I'd seek independent living elsewhere.

I 've been here for just 5 days, and I LOVE being here. The employees are all outstanding, warm, friendly and love helping out when asked. The rooms are beautiful and the food is fantastic. I can't say enough about The Alexander.. I have made a wonderful decision in deciding to retire here.
