As a lover of the original John's Chicken and growing up in Dychman, I can say the recipe was on par. They only offered dark meat fried chicken, thighs and legs, which is not in alignment with their website. I was disappointed that their was no white meat options. I ordered a piece of bbq chicken as well and it was juicy and tasty. It did not disappoint. I only had their rice and beans which was very moist and well seasoned. I look forward to what the Paramus location will offer.

*update 2/15. The lady at the front really needs to change her attitude, i asked if she can clean the table she gave me a nasty look pretended to clean it and there was still a long hair on the table. Her attitude it is making me give it one star. Food it is good. The food is good and great prices , i am giving it 3 starts because of the "managers" attitude. Lady learn manners and treat people right, without customers you don't have a business.

I was skeptical about eating their because of how it looked outside, but gave the place a try anyway and the food was surprisingly good. My husband had baked turkey wings, rice and beans. I had fried yuca with onion.
