The Burgwin-Wright House and Garden was a very informative tour. Connor, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and was engaging. The house is very well preserved along with the historical furnishings. The garden was beautiful and it was delightful to walk around in.

Great location for portrait sessions! We photographed our client's engagement photos here and loved all the wonderful backdrops this venue had. photos by: Keepsake Memories Photography

Well worth the time and money to visit this historic home. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. I learned a lot about the home, the region, and culture of the time. The home has been mostly renovated and gardens are fantastic. The tour and garden visit lasted for about 90 minutes and we enjoyed every part of it.

The Hilton is close, but I'm not sure about the rates. The Wilmington is a vintage accommodation which is almost right around the corner on 2nd St. However I'm not sure of those rates either.
