If you actually want Your loved one to be killed by BLATANTLY OBVIOUS NEGLECT. Woodbury is the only place to put them. Assisted feeding = take lid off plate and leave. STAGE 4 BED SORE WITH 3 more stage2. Doctors are via Telemedicine. Administration not only lies to family members, they cannot remember what lies they told who. Rooms not cleaned properly. Male nurse Physically attacked me. When reported was dismissed. I could continue but this will just be swept under Woodbury's rug She died by choking few days before her birthday. She was supposed to have assisted feeding.

Most reviews are written with negative comments about the particular establishment because normally people will only write a review if the experience was bad and may not take the time to write a review if it was a good experience. While those reviews are appreciated, I wanted to take the time to write a positive review about Woodbury. My mother was in rehab at Woodbury for 1 1/2 months after a fall in late April that put her in the hospital with a broken hip. Once my mom got settled into Woodbury, visits were only allowed outside the facility due to Covid. Theresa or Ryan would usually bring my mom out to me for our visits and they always made sure that she was comfortable and stayed close by to take her back to her room. Just listening to their conversations with her while taking her back inside let me know that they genuinely cared about her and how her visit went with me. Her main nurses Melissa and Sara were wonderful and kept me updated on her condition when needed. I called them quite a few times with questions about my mom and they were always so very helpful and would often check on her while we were on the phone and come back and let me she was fine or had gotten her what she needed. She has some dementia and would often get confused as to where she was and would call me and I in turn would call Sara or Melissa and they would go and take care of her needs and I could just tell that they did not mind at all. That peace of mind is priceless when you are not allowed inside to help care for your loved ones. She had other nurses as well and they all were wonderful. Her physical therapy was led by Elizabeth and honestly had it not been for her team and their patience with my mom (she can be very feisty) she could not have come home but would have had to go to a nursing home. Instead they encouraged her and made her believe that she could do the exercises needed to get her home. Her CNA's probably knew her best and she definitely tried them sometimes but never once did I ever feel like she was mistreated or that her requests were ignored. My mom will say over and over that Woodbury was so good to her and that they always took care of her. I know this review is lengthy but hopefully it will give you the confidence needed to check out Woodbury for your loved ones short term rehab.

I worked there for 4 years. I would never recommend working there. I also wouldn't recomend them for caring for your loved ones. The only good thing is their physical therapy team. They were great, they really seemed to care about the residents, my Grandmother included.

I really do not understand how this place keeps staff. Staff is severely overworked and burnt out. There is zero morale for staff. The first day of orientation the state is in for a surprise investigation. New staff are not provided orientation but are thrown to the wolves and used as full time regular staff. There are zero benefits for full time employees... no 401k, PTO. No weekend or shift differential. Nurses cannot do their jobs effectively because there are no supplies and nurses have to provide their own blood pressure curfs, thermometers and pulse oximiters which ate paid for out of employees pockets. Pay is biweekly. Pay is low and if you call out sick you are harassed by the DON and verbally degraded. The DON uses fowl language on the floor towards staff in front of residents. Medication errors are looked over and a lot is swept under the rug. Management has zero respect for employees. The audacity of how the DON speaks and looks down on her staff is appalling. Also if you call out sick they pay your entire paycheck for three weeks work at minimum wage. When you bring up concerns to management they make excuses or place blame elsewhere. This is the worst facility I have ever stepped foot it. It has a nice appearance at first but the care is sub par because the good nurses that do work there can't do it all because the work load is too much. Do not work here.

Our residents enjoy housekeeping services, meals prepared by our kitchen as well as snacks, laundry services, medication management, and a variety of social activities.
I work there and seen hospice in there. You might want to call and speak with someone in admittance
