Our waitress was so nice and helpful! My meal and my friends meal unfortunately were overcooked. We also had a vegetarian in our group and the menu provided limited options for her . She settled for the $8 cauliflower. I don’t think we will be back.

Cavé is amazing! My boyfriend and I went this weekend, it was my second time. We ordered the burrata app, we each got the beef bone marrow burger with truffle duck fat fries, all of which were phenomenal. That burger is delicious! For dessert we got the Spanish almond cake, it was so yummy. Our waitress, Meg, was friendly, attentive, and fun to talk to! Perfect for a date night!

We went to Cave Bistro for an all gluten-free dinner and were very satisfied. It is BYOB so we brought our own bottle of Rose. We began with Octopus appetizer and for our main courses had Marrow burger, Halibut FoTD and a special Veal medallions. All were excellent. Dessert was two special treats; Oatmeal Whoopie Pie and a Almond/Twix Bar. Excellent. Great atmosphere we will definitely go back soon. P.S. Just a quick ride to the boardwalk to walk off the desserts.

Cave Bistro is a gluten free farm to table byob restaurant. They have their menu online and also their fresh catch and meat dish of the day. Since the menu is small it would be a good idea to also add an appetizer special as well to keep regulars intrigued. I had the crab cake and the grass fed beef sliders as appetizers. I didn’t care much for the crab cake, and I wouldn’t order it again. The grass beef sliders were very good! The mini burgers were so tender and juicy! I’m going to have to order their burger here next time. It must be delicious! The grass fed beef sliders would of been fantastic if they were in mini bread rolls, but it’s a gluten free restaurant so there is no bread. For entrees I had the strip steak and the cobia special. The strip steak was very good! It was accompanied with duck fat truffle fries and spinach. I loved the fries too! The only thing is this restaurant doesn’t have ketchup! The chef believes that the way he prepares his burgers and fries ketchup is not needed! I totally disagree! The best fries and burgers in the world still taste even better with ketchup! If you want ketchup bring your own bottle from home. The pan seared cobia was excellent! That dish was accompanied with tomato avocado salad which was very good! For desserts I had the brownie and the cheesecake. The brownie was FANTASTIC! You would never even know it was gluten free! The cheesecake was horrible! The bottom was burnt and hard as a rock! The cheesecake part wasn’t that great either! Overall, I thought most of the dishes here were very good! I love farm to table restaurants, and I definitely will be adding this restaurant to my rotation. I recommend dining at Cave Bistro in Avon By The Sea!

My husband and I are missionaries in Costa Rica. While visiting NJ, we were guest. We loved it! Would there be any way I could get your recipe for your cauliflower and bacon soup?
