The playground itself was nice but there were homeless people and groups of adults cursing and yelling. I didn't feel comfortable there alone with my two kids

Nice park. Said it's a stocked lake but we didn't catch anything from the shore or docks. Probably better at different times of day. My 6 year old loved the park and didn't want to leave. They have bathrooms and water fountains. Basketball court. Pavillion with tables. Benches all around. Also had boat and trailer parking and a ramp to drop your boat in. We will deff be goin back

Green space that hugs Clear Lake. There are two fishing piers. I saw two otters playing which was amusing. There is a playground and picnic tables. Great park for children.

I was on the look out for new fishing spots with good water quality, and a good up-keep on the park. Little to no trash, and friendly people, its a good recreational park for fishing.

When you asked the question they where closed but it's open now
Technically, you have to have a fishing license to fish any public place in Florida. But the fish & game warden is rarely if ever seen here. If he does question you, be sure to simply advise you are in the process of getting it. They are usually quite lenient. Happy Fishing!
