Filaree Garlic Farm

For about six months out of the year I have fabulous garlic. That's roughly November, when my Filaree shipment arrives, through April, when I coax the last bit of flavor out of the last drying cloves. There are other suppliers out there but I've found Filaree to be reliable and consistent. Producing an annual print catalog, as Filaree does, is no small accomplishment. I love paging through the Filaree catalog every year to make selections, and I save them to compare year-to-year. I like to make tasting notes on the bags each time I cook with garlic. I can't say I discern differences among types like I do for, say, wine, but it's fun to try. I've come to rely on the Filaree folks as a consistent supplier of great garlic.

The seed garlic I bought from filaree did great and produced a big enough crop that I won’t need to buy more sees garlic. I will definitely be buying shallots and other things though.

I LOVE this farm!!! I found this wonderful resource for my garlic seed after purchasing some in the co-op in town. They had a big display of garlic and the provided care sheet was written by Filaree, so I had their address and contact info. I never buy from anyone else now. Since discovering Filaree I have placed 3 orders and now today I just placed an order for fall shipment 2021. I look forward to working with this farm for many years to come! Great stock!!!

First purchase from Filaree, although my daughter has bought before. Great bulbs and when I went to plant was even more impressed. All the cloves were wonderful. None were damaged. I look forward to having wonderful garlic in the spring.
