Fou d this preserve when we moved to New York. With all the grind that happens in the city, this is sort of our spiritual space, a way to connect to nature. Whether it is winter time or spring or summer, you will enjoy being in this space. There are several trails that you can go on and you will not be disappointed where each one leads to. We have experienced wildlife that are there and have been calmed by the streams flowing. If you are looking to relax, to hike, or to build your skills this is a wonderful place to be.

as the pics show, only go in winter or early spring! in summer its very hard to locate trails as the entrances are not marked. it looks very different as one woukd expect for summer with extremely tall grass and underbrush. also be wary 9f snakes. it probably would have been great if we went during a better season.
