A welcome retreat from the inland heat. This KOA is gorgeous, full of big trees and plenty of green. The cabin was spotless, with extra wooden stools, and very comfortable. The staff was all extremely friendly and professional. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Thank you!

This is the most beautiful KOA I've stayed at. Every (or almost every) spot has trees separating them. It gives a real "in the woods" feeling. I could only see a handful of neighbors from my cabin. The tent sites are also in little groves of redwoods and gorgeous. There's a couple cabins in the groves, too. It's pretty dark at night, kinda spooky because of the trees. And bats! Just tiny ones that fly above the trees. It's pretty neat! Bring bug repellent, there's a decent amount of mosquitoes. It's just off 101, but I didn't hear much traffic. I was in a cabin. Amenities were ok for kids; there's a small playground and open field, volleyball net, and rec room. I'd recommend going to the surrounding area for hikes. Bathrooms were so-so. Didn't smell, fairly clean, and toilets worked. One toilet was plugged in the morning (cleaned by night time). The shower drained slowly and I had to stand in water covering my toes. There's two sets of bathrooms, so neither was particularly busy.

We stayed here last week and it was amazing. We arrived right before close but were able to get us a spot (#108). We loved our spot because it felt so secluded and private. Amanda and Hunter are some amazing employees. Both were very helpful and friendly. You can’t go wrong with a stay here.

The Crescent City KOA is the 67th stop for us and we stayed 7 nights – we did not use the bath house, laundry or other amenities – and it served as our home base for the federal and state redwood parks. Overall, it is a small, middle of the road KOA campground set nicely amongst mature trees, including redwoods. Immediately off 101 so very convenient to the parks and just 6 miles from Crescent City but cannot hear much traffic noise (and our site was toward the front of the park). Debbie was quite nice at check in and put up with my couple of questions plus when we had an issue, she had somebody at our site taking care of it in less than 10 minutes. The sites are decent but need some grading and new gravel where significant pooling of water takes place when raining. If you have a rig over 35 feet, you will find the inner roads a bit tight to navigate. And for the septic, they do not have a p-trap so there is liquid about a foot down in the pipe but the tanks drain fine. Overall, would rate a 4.0. Late morning text for connectivity. WiFi 16.8 down/2.6 up; T-Mobile 48.7 down/2.0 up; Verizon 3.5 down/0.2 up.

you can buy a regular campsite or a rv camp site or a cabin. usually a regular site for a tent should cost 38 dollars for one night.
It depends on the cabin. Two bunk beds and one queen was $150
We $180 per night for the deluxe cabin
Tents site are really nice. There is a fire ring.

It depends on the site you choose and how many people are in your party.
I dont believe that they do. We have a boxer-lab mix and she was fine. I remember seeing a guest walking 3 gr8 danes. They need to be on a leash at all times.
Yes, they have designated fire pits at each site. But fire must be in the pit only.
No. But there is an indoor swimming pool at Beach Front park in Crescent City. 5 1/2 miles from the KOA. Which probably where you will go to enjoy the ocean and walk the beach. Or 10 miles the other direction to the Smith river
We stayed 4 days. Not sure maximum stay. The KOA is always busy
We stayed 4 days with a RV trailer. Maybe it is booked for days you want
