Not perfect. But it was clean and comfortable. Place does need updated, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had just left our previous hotel due to cleanliness, and the man at the desk at the Monticello Inn allowed us to look at 2 rooms before purchasing. Price wasn't bad at all. Overall, very quaint and comfortable place to stay. I would stay again.

Clean, nostalgic, and service above par! Maybe not as modern as big box motels, but the tv works & has a large selection of channels. The bed is comfortable, and I have not had any problems getting a good night’s sleep.

My original room was accidentally overbooked. However, I was upgraded at no additional cost. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Only downside is the outdated TV.

Great value for your money! The only thing close to criticism that I had was that the wifi reception wasn't the best in my (initial) room, but they bent over backwards to help. Excellent customer service by front desk worker, Bryce!! Internet was fast once I was moved (~50mb/s). Room was very clean for this price tier. You can tell they work very hard at that job. Owners: Your wifi reception issues can be resolved by a "wifi repeater" FWIW. Very simple devices, no IT guy required. Keep up the great work, Monticello Inn! If my travels bring me back to the area I will definitely be staying here again.
