Don’t often leave a review, but when a shop goes above and beyond - they deserve it. Trevor, the Tech Manager, went above and beyond for me and my bike problems. I’m on the east coast of the US, and I could not figure out what was wrong with my linkage on my bike. (We have no local Santa Cruz dealer at the moment.) He was able to reach out to Santa Cruz and get a super fast response. Additionally, he helped me make some critical analysis of my bike’s problem and figure out the best course of action to get it running again. I’ve not ridden my bike, in over a month, so it was awesome to get the bike back on the path to be able to ride it again. Thank you Mike’s Bikes and Trevor.

It seems to be a professional bike shop chain with a dedicated service attitude. I was surprised/disappointed that there were no models with a belt drive available. I also was surprised/disappointed that there were no models with a "hub dynamo" . Since I am a foreigner (Germany), I assume that this is just not common in the US. I bought a $1100 bike including some upgrades. The brand "Public" which is owned by the bike chain comes with some low quality components. I upgraded the pedals for example and added a bell and a kick stand. I also plan to upgrade the braking system to a hydraulic version.

I came here after walking in previously and spoke with Dante (pictured) the bike fitter. I just bought a bike from my friend and his wife, who have the same height as me and my wife. However, our bodies are very different and it seems like we needed to get our bikes adjusted. Because of COVID, Mikes Bikes doesn’t do official adjustments, but Dante was more than happy to help us for free with some simple changes. We came back today after a month (due to previous plans), and Dante was more than happy to help us. Before my wrists really hurt, and now after a test ride I can tel a HUGE difference. He also helped my wife with her adjustment. He was so patient and I could tell he really CARED for our own needs as a rider and person. Highly recommend coming here. Good folks.

Super helpful and honest. Unlike other shops, these guys don't seem like they were trying to force a sale. They are straight forward about how returns work, and honored it well. They all love cycling, a couple are quite comppetative! And they enjoy their jobs, which is always a good sign. Overall, as far as bike shops, they have won my loyalty and trust.
