For a place called “North Beach” there isn’t much beach. This “beach” is a small plot of land with sand and rocks, more like a glorified sandbox. The water is still, shallow, and muddy. Packed with kids, not a place to relax. And to charge $17 per person for this is absolutely outrageous.

Small areas of sand that is well maintained. Expensive for non residents. 12+ is 17 dollars per day. 3-11 is 9 dollars. Lots of staff but no lifeguards. Lots of rental opportunities for more money. Bathroom. No pets on beach. Fishing off pier also expensive.

I'm an Uber driver and took a client home to North Beach! It was so beautiful and peaceful that I parked my car, stopped working and walked. I would recommend it for a nice weekend stay if not longer

I agree with some of the other reviews here. The plus is that is is close to the DMV area, but when we showed up and found a very small beach where the white sand only extends to the edge of the water we were a bit disappointed. Beyond the white sand is mostly muddy and unappealing but we stayed because we had planned a beach day. Lounging on the beach was nice, a nice beach for a family, but still a very high entrance charge for a mediocre beach.
