Great place for a quick bite. Outside seating is cozy not very fancy place but food is great, Taste makes up for it. Prices are very decent. Must try!

I ordered the Qabuli Pulau, which is rice over lamb shank. It was good, not the best Qabuli Pulau I had though! There were some chunks of rice, which are not supposed to be! The Bolani was also good, even though there were some black burnt pieces on some. We sat outside, due to a strong smell of some sort of a cleaning product I guess. The service was mainly just for taking the order and bringing the feed and the bill, and not checking for what else we need. It is a decent place with good food and I will go again!

Nice outdoor seating and right on A street with easy street parking. Service was very odd, we never saw a waiter as the owner indicated that they’ll be out soon. Anytime we needed anything, we went inside and asked the owner and he seemed surprised that we were not served. We were the only customers dining. We ordered the lamb kebab skewers and the squash kaedoo. The lamb was excellent with nice char and flavor but the kaedoo was too bland. It needed something more. The bread and rice were good.

First timers here, I just randomly chose this place from a quick review of Afghan places near our friends house. Seems like some of the bad reviews and criticisms revolve around religious issues which thankfully I have zero allegiance to or interest in. None of us had been here before and three of us never had Afghani food. Four diners, four different ethnicities and no preconceptions. With that said, we were all very happy with our meals which were simply delicious. We had the potato Bolani (generous portion). Lamb Kabob plate Beef Kabob plate Chicken Kabob plate Chicken curry plate I didn't try the lamb but my beef was just great, been thinking about it since. Tender, moist and wonderfully seasoned. I brought it home as leftovers and my 11 year old devoured it. The chicken kabob ranks up there with my favorite with Zareens and Mazra. Honestly like this better than Mazra and was more tender than Zareens, but very good. Chicken curry was nice and mild, easy for anyone to eat and flavorful. The yogurt based salad dressing was delicious. The Bolani was good and was a generous portion, definitely enough for four to share along with the meal. We all live a good 40 minutes away or longer with traffic but o I can't wait to come back here again!
