We went there yesterday and there's a lot of people find it uncomfortable because the facility doesn't have toilet to be waiting for more than 3 hours but I admire the 2 clerks they really works hard I didn't even see them take their break and lunch the management should commend this two staff.

Came here on a Saturday morning and arrived at 6:45. Doors opened on time and we all started the process. First time getting a passport and April there was helpful from the start. She answered all questions and was super sweet after I had to retake my photo since cvs botched it. Thanks April for being sooo sweet and telling me I look beautiful with no makeup on! Lol

This is literally the worse post office I've ever been to. I mean, the wait time is unbelievable. Literally! You are in the same spot for 45mins or longer. You would think if their office is open on a Saturday when most people have the time to go they would move quickly to get people in & out. I've renewed my passport at many different post office and never had to wait this long. No vending machine or anything of that sort. Especially waiting for hours. No restrooms. You are not allowed to use their outlet to charge your phone. Come with full battery life. Five workers in here and you're still in line for a very long time. I do not recommend coming to this location. Unless you are planning to be the very first person in line at 7 am when they open. TWO WORKERS processing passport application for ‘500 people’. This waiting time reminds me of being at the DMV. Ugh! 😩already been here for 5 hours. 😡

To renew a passport you would have to identify whether or not you can answer yes to all five questions on the renewal form if so you would add a photo that has been taken within 6 months a check for $110 your old passport book and if you like to get a card an additional $30 and you can get photos done and mail your item out at The Signal Hill Post Office
The Signal Hill post office is a walk-in office no appointment is needed however be prepared because the wait can be between 2 to 3 hours and there is no restroom or food allowed
The Dept of State mandates that employees can not fill out applications. You should be able to complete your own application or have someone you know help you.
Yes. Most all places do but charge $10-15 extra. Costco and walmart also provide the service. I made an appt with CSULB passport services and was in and out in under 20.

Hello! You should visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/apply-renew-passport/renew-by-mail.html to start the process of renewing your passport online. At the long mega passport location, cash was not accepted. If I recall corrected, it's only check, money order or debit.
