Great paved Trails for walking or bicycle riding. Restrooms at the parking lot. Lots of room to take dog off-leash.

Awesome place to cycle. There's a water pump near the boat loading Bay parking lot you canr refill. I drank 6 liters on a summer ride.

The River Mountains look dead and monotone from a distance, but gorgeous and fascinating up close. Desert Bighorn sheep and great Rock formations. Wild flowers late March to early May. Winter and spring hikes best. Don't try this mid-day between June and September! Take plenty of water.
