Where do I begin? We booked here Jan '22 for 3 nights on our way to Maine in May. I was towing the camper and my GF was ahead in her car. She called me to advise me that someone was in our site, to which I was not pleased. I was 45 min. out. I said to have them leave and her reply was that it's run by the town of Windsor. She finally got a hold of someone at the town as we were closing in on 4PM on a Friday and they knew nothing about the squatters in our site that refused to leave. It seems they booked another site and just took #7 because "no one was there". Well since the city "controls" this campground there was nothing that they were willing to do except put us in another site... #6. We booked #7 b/c it offered some shade and #6 was out in the blazing 95* sun, no shade at all. The pictures that depict shade that they post are the ONLY ones that have them. Eventually we were offered a comp and that our $ would be refunded (instead of booting the squatter) I advised them the the CC used for reservations was no longer active and to use another one I offered. Too late, was their reply. I was promised by the "city manager" Alan that this would be resolved or a check would be sent to me. Well promises, promises despite numerous calls, empty voice mails and BS by him this has still yet to be resolved even though he admitted that he had to actually evict them for the next campers. It's been over 2 months now and still no resolution, no return phone calls, no credit to the CC account # that I provided and no check... nothing from this "city manager", ALAN. Granted the place is nice... if you don't mind mismanagement and If you don't mind not having a camp host to resolve these issues and if you can hopefully book outside of the blazing center! PS. The treehouses are very ingenious. It's too bad that this gem is poorly "managed"!

The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because its literally hades temperature in the summer, however late August on it is the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. It has the essentials without the distractions. River sports and fishing were my main activities. I will continue to use this as my place of peace

Such a beautiful place. I look forward to returning to the Cashie River Treehouses! This is a great place to unplug from the daily demands of life and enjoy the calm! The treehouses are very clean and comfortable for those that love the outdoors. I highly recommend for couples and families!

Each treehouse is currently $60 per night.
There is electricity but I think you have to bring anything else you will need.
I was there during the summer. Assuming things haven't changed, no. They do have power and you could bring an electric space heater.
Yes, you can bring a stove or portable grill
Away from the treehouses. There is a grilling area
