Just numbers. When I moved out of Irvine company in the past, they charged $170 for cleaning. This place charged $170 cleaning + $100 carper cleaning + $90 painting = $360. In both cases I didn't clean anything myself, but still $360 vs $170. As to the parking, the distance from my apartment to my assigned parking spot was 560 feet (170 meters / 0.1 mile). If you drive with heavy boxes, you have 2 choices: park at someone else's spot illegally and walk 20 feet; or park at your own spot and walk 560 feet with heavy items. Why someone else's parking spot is 20 times closer to your apartment than yours - they will not give you an answer, they have their own logic.

Move out experience is horrible. Let me describe: 1. About a month before the end of lease, I received a letter for renew with rent increase. I saw better deals outside this apartment but I hate to move, so try to talk with them whether they can match the price. They said they'll get back to me in a week. The next week came, no one contacted me. I called them, they completely had no idea about the promise the made. They said "let me send you our current offer" and sent me the offer they had on their website. 2. It was a waste of time to negotiate, so I decided to move out. I sent them an email to tell them I'm not renewing the lease. No one replied. I called them whether they received anything, they said they saw the letter. Turns out there's a big surprise. On the last day I went to their office to return the key. They're surprised and asked me "has any one process your move out request?" Of course not, you didn't reply my email. They realized they screwed up. I was also automatically charged another month's rent because of this. 3. My new apartment is trying to do background check, so they tried to reach this apartment. They called three consecutive days and left messages. You probably guessed what happened if you're smart --- no one called back. 4. I was always a well organized and responsible person (at least I think I am), and I hired a professional team came to the my apartment to do the move out cleaning. Upon moving out I gave them my receipt of the cleaning service. They were happy and said they would let the maintenance team know so they won't charge me for cleaning. The next day the maintenance team did the final inspection with my wife. They told my wife they needed to hire another team to clean the apartment. My wife is generally nice and agreeable so she didn't object. I was honestly quite angry when I heard about that, "what is it with this back and forth? " So I called their maintenance team, no one picked up, I left a message. Then I called their office, no one picked up, I left a message. I sent them an email asking for clarification. Now a week passed and you probably guess it even if you aren't that smart ----- no one reply the call or the email. I'll update this review once I receive their invoice on how much they charge me for the cleaning ---- the one that I've already hired a team to clean.

If It was possible for me to give them a zero star I would. The turn over in management has been a lot, we had so many different property managers within 2 years. When I finally decided to move out, I was mailed a letter and being charged a ridiculous amount. When I had reached out to the property no one was picking up the phone, no one was responding to my emails, and I had been pushed to collections. At this point I was forced to pay the amount because the leasing office never got back to me. It is a very unorganized and unethical to incur these charges with out proper documentation. Even while living there they had poor communication and definitely not pet friendly. I noticed they have specials right now, it must mean they need more tenants. Maybe if they took better care of their current residents they wouldn't need to put so many specials out. Update 10/16: With the response of the apartment complex, it appears that they do not even have my information on file. I lived in 2 separate units within a span of 2 years. The response itself is disheartening.
