These women are rude, have no customer service skills and discriminated against us for our hair textures! Tried to charge us $50/60 for a wash and blow dry because our hair was “Natural.” We left, went to Regency Square Mall. Uptown Designs Salon charged $25 with high-end hair products!! Shout out to Patricia for the excellent customer service at Uptown Designs Salon!!!

I use to like coming to this salon and they did a great job with my hair. But this past weekend I went in to get the wash, condition and wrap for $25 as usual like I have been doing since last year; and was told they were out of the sulfate free shampoo and it was ordered. Well I called later Saturday they still did not have, I called yesterday asked and was hung up on, called back and kept getting a weird message, waited about a half hour tried again. This time I was told by a woman she knew nothing about being out let her check if she did not have she would go pick up. She comes back on the line and tells me, " I have it and that it is an additional $10 for Sulfate Free Shampoo." I told her I have never paid an additional $10 and asked is that a new policy. She said no, it has always been in place so whoever has been doing my hair has been doing it without charging me. I believe that they did not want to do my hair because if that was the case why in the world would the person(s) who've been doing it allllllllllll this time not know that. I never had any problem with anyone in here, was always nice and treated nicely and it is a shame that I am being told this now all of a sudden out of the blue. She said the shampoo cost more and so that is why it is additional unless I bring my own shampoo. I believe your prices should be posted including any little things such as this scenario here, plus alllllllll of your beauticians should know this. This tells me that you do not train your beauticians and/or you just decided this all out the blue and I choose to believe the later. THEY HAVE TRULY LOST A CUSTOMER AND I WILL NO LONGER TELL MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY ABOUT THEM. BEWARE AS THEY MAY FLIP THE SCRIPT ON YOU ONE DAY OUT OF THE BLUE TOO!

I have been to this salon a hand full of times (only last minute choices). Unfortunately every time I have been I have received AWFUL customer service I mean the Rudest Beauticians EVER!!(I see other reviews have had the same problem). I have never even received a simple hello when I enter the salon.So unpleasant, uncomfortable, and nasty!! I vow to never go back again!!! Take your money somewhere were they appreciate your money and your business.

I been going to this salon for a long time over a yr and a half and never had a problem; today was horrible and I did not like experience. I will never return to this salon and I will take my money somewhere else. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS they messed up my hair, they got an attitude with me after I told them I didn’t like my hair, and then OVER CHARGE ME…. I have never paid as much as I did today, and my bank statement speaks for its self!!! They just LOST A REGULAR CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!
