Recently had a cake made by this bakery for my daughter’s baby shower. I haven’t tasted a cake this amazing since Sweets To You by Ginger (out of Claymont, DE…closed several years ago). Delicious and moist! We have a big family. This place will be getting our business for every special event from now on. The hour drive will be worth it!

I came here for the first time December 21st and picked up a 6-8" Ho, Ho, Hi Christmas cake to share with my family. I was surprised for such a small Cake it cost over 25 dollars, but thought it's probably worth it, the place has good reviews. When I cut the cake the frosting just crumbled off the cake. The inside of the cake was so dry that we ended up throwing the entire cake out. Definitely was not worth the money, I've had better cakes at the Giant grocery store at least they are moist. This cake had to have been sitting there for a week, it was absolutely terrible. I will not be a repeat customer. Maria's bakery in Folsom is worth the trip and their cakes at fresh and for the price I paid, I would have had a large cake there. I only gave a 2 star because it was decorated beautifully and at one time might have tasted good. I came to this place based on the reviews, but I certainly won't be back . See the photos below. The frosting in the bottom of the box is what crumbled off the cake when it was cut. I had cut 3 slices. We all took one bite and ended up throwing the entire cake away. A waste of money.

Devour Desserts made the most delicious wedding cake! We had a three tier wedding cake with all different flavors and they were all delicious. The cake itself was beautiful and exactly how we wanted it. They delivered the cake to our venue the day of, so there was no planning or stress on our part. Would highly recommend using them for all wedding cakes!
