Robert Half is the best company that I've worked with since 2020 + motherhood. They've been extremely professional always found me work, check in with me to see if the assignments are going great after 90days. I've always been listened to whenever I've voiced concerns or discomfort about uncomfortable work situations . There's two way feed back for every assignment I've been placed in and it's been a very pleasant experience for the most part. The recruiters are very communicative and responsive to both calls & emails . This is not a paid review, everyone's experience is different I'm horrified to see these reviews. But my personal lived experience has been overwhelmingly positive with both the SF & Oakland offices.

All these recruiting companies just want your information to show their clients of the database of their "employees". They post job listings that suddenly expires, or push you to take the least desired jobs and make you look it's your fault if things don't go well.

I can attest to the REALLY bad communication of the staff at this office. I was assigned to a job by Samantha Cook- a minimum wage job mind you- and she texted me incessantly for days to make sure that I could make it (it was on a holiday). Then, she all of a sudden decided that I had to come in for an hour of training the day before (mind you, this was a minimum wage job, literally as a front desk greeter). I told her that I couldn't commit to the training because I was busy with job searching. She continued texting me. On the day of the assignment I show up early, get trained by the Admin Assistant, and go about the job. It is extremely easy, as I had imagined it would be. Then, two hours into my shift, a regular staff arrives and says that she is supposed to work there that day. Suffice to say, I never received communication from Robert Half that the assignment was cancelled, and I have yet to be reimbursed or even for them to take responsibility for THEIR MISTAKE. Incredibly disappointing experience all around, and if I had realized that she was from the Oakland office, with it's terrible reviews, I wouldn't have taken the job!

Don't work here. I finished an assignment and RHI told the EDD, that I quit and they had to bring someone in to finish my assignment. IF YOU FINISH AN ASSIGNMENT, GET SOMETHING IN WRITING!!! RHI took me to EDD court 18 months after the assignment ended.
